@StumpyLuke: perhaps it was simply a matter of it being open to the public vs. open only to those with recs. I was wondering the same thing myself and that was the only thing I could really come up with.

What I'm curious about, is how you got away with holding the event at that particular venue after all. I thought Chubbs originally said the landlord threw a bitch fit about it, so the venue had to change (and apparently multiple times)…Was there a sudden change of heart? And if so, why? I mean, I'm glad you got to hold it at the original location, I'm just wondering what all went down to make it happen there.
